Quality not quantity. Here's a little *rant* I found on the benefits of investing in quality pieces instead of mass consumption...

"Maybe if we lived by a different, more sustainable mentality, this would be less of a problem! I'm by no means rich (23 yr old, making minumum wage, working part time), but really believe in INVESTING my money in clothing! Do you know that many of these stores ( I worked at Urban for years, I know this for a fact) make clothing with poor quality ON PURPOSE!!? It's called "disposable" fashion for a reason. So instead of taking a few $45 trips to forever21 a month, save that money, buy yourself a beautiful dress (yes, there are quality designers for under $200) that will last you years and years and years. Heck, the hemming might even stay in tack through the wash! :)

All I'm saying, is the mentality of things being "overpriced" because they are under $100 could be thrown out the window if you didnt have to purchase new clothing all the time because your $12.80 dress just came apart at the seams. Or, you know, buy vintage!"
